The story happens before Hajime Isayama's original manga and takes after Anheru, an individual from the Survey Corps who works in weapons improvement. Anheru is burnt out on seeing the carcasses of his kindred Survey Corps individuals, and is attempting to plan gear that will permit people to have the capacity to murder Titans. Up to this point, nobody has possessed the capacity to discover the powerless purpose of the Titans, thus nobody has figured out how to execute one.
